Frontend Team Leader

We are looking for a brilliant Frontend Squad Team Leader to join our amazing R&D team in Israel and lead vcita’s frontend infrastructure; Equip our R&D with the latest frontend technologies, enhance development speed and foster a culture of learning and mentorship.

Team mission

Create and maintain our frontend (FE) infrastructure to ensure code quality, development velocity, and a great user experience.
Support and train our engineers by providing clear documentation, ongoing training, consultation, and mentoring.
Keep vcita teams up to date with the latest frontend technologies.
Operate as a fully autonomous squad responsible for delivering a business pipeline in a CI/CD environment.

The Frontend infrastructure Team Leader is expected to be a technical subject matter expert and a strong team player.

Areas we’ll trust you with::

Lead vcita’s frontend infrastructure.
Support and train frontend developers across all development squads.
Lead a team of senior developers through the product life cycle - including architecture, design, development, quality and production.
Recruit, onboard and mentor new team members in code reviews, programming methodologies and best practices.
Drive Code GenAI initiatives: Transform the development culture to enhance velocity and quality through increased adoption of AI code generation tools.
Collaborate closely with all R&D teams and Product Managers, Support multiple projects in parallel, making sure all deliver on-time with high quality and newest technologies.
Maintain and foster a strong culture of collaboration, professionalism & excellency.
Define quality, standards and processes for all frontend developers across R&D teams.
Contribute at least 50% hands-on development within the team.

Areas of your knowledge and Expertise::

At least 4 years of experience as a team leader, leading a web-based product development.
6+ months of hands-on experience in AI code generation tools.
5+ years of proven hands-on experience with Vue (Angular & React - an advantage).
Strong ability to translate a business challenge into a plan and lead execution.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; Ability to motivate, foster collaboration, communicate effectively and strive for excellency.
Passion for agile methodologies and processes.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science - an advantage
