We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to join our team! Within this organization, Microsoft Copilot Studio is transforming how people work and interact with technology. Copilot Studio is a highly strategic product for Microsoft, enabling customers to effortlessly create, deploy, and manage AI-driven agents. Built as a global, distributed, Azure-based platform, Copilot Studio operates highly scalable, multi-tenant microservices designed to make agent development simple, impactful, and enterprise-ready. These agents can autonomously execute complex workflows, engage in natural, multilingual conversations, and adapt to a wide range of real-world scenarios.

Our team focuses heavily on analytics and evaluation to ensure every agent we deliver is intelligent, reliable, and effective in production environments; as well as on securing agents and easily govern them to allow for safe deployments at scale.
We are seeking a talented and passionate Principal Program Manager to help drive these innovations and push the boundaries of what AI agents can achieve.

Responsibilities

Be a product leader who deeply understands the enterprise customer and productivity scenarios to help deliver continued end-user value & drive adoption.
Engage on technical challenges, constraints and blockers with state of the art AI capabilities for enterprise and personal productivity customers.
Influence various product team owners to prioritize product features that are blocking customer scenarios by sharing feedback, explaining customer context & importance, effective communication and by leveraging senior leadership escalation, as necessary.
Ensure Copilot Studio remains a market leader in agentic platforms.
Drive competitive evaluation of leading AI technology, staying ahead of the curve for latest advancements, adopting current solutions to new capabilities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.
Experience in creating/building/deploying agentic solutions.
Generative AI, LLMs, quality evaluation approaches and frameworks.
Proven experience owning end‑to‑end product strategy for complex, enterprise‑grade platforms, operating across multiple feature areas and organizational boundaries.
Demonstrated ability to define and influence long‑term vision and roadmap, translating customer needs, market signals, and business goals into durable product strategy.
Comfortable leading in high ambiguity, making principled tradeoffs, and driving clarity and momentum across engineering, design, research, and partner teams.
Track record of shipping features that scale from early adoption to mission‑critical production use.
Data‑driven mindset: defining success metrics, using telemetry and customer feedback to guide decisions and improve outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications:

Comfortable in having conversations with customers and executive stakeholders at multiple levels (C-level execs, program leads, directors, low-code app makers, developers, architects).
Strong leadership acumen, with ability to drive results through influence.
Team player with a demonstrated habit of sharing and scaling knowledge – either internally or externally – through documentation, presentations, videos, code samples, accelerators, etc.

Other Requirements: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
