We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Team Lead to join our engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide a talented group of developers in building and maintaining a complex, distributed, and highly available solution deployed both in the cloud and on-premises.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and maintenance of a robust, scalable, and distributed system architecture.
Collaborate on the design of next-generation architecture, focusing on scalability, testability, and maintainability.
Drive the decomposition of a Java monolith into independent services.
Oversee all stages of the software development lifecycle: research, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Mentor and support team members, fostering their professional growth and technical development.
Diagnose and resolve production issues to ensure optimal performance and system reliability.

Requirements

B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.
2+ years of experience as a Team Lead, with proven leadership and technical capabilities.
5+ years of experience in Java-based server-side development.
Strong expertise in Spring / Spring Boot frameworks.
Hands-on experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, CI/CD pipelines, and Microservices architecture.
Solid experience in writing and maintaining integration and system tests.
Familiarity with test automation frameworks like Selenium and Appium for web and mobile testing - advantage
