Organic Chemistry R&D Department as an Organic Team Leader.
The Organic Team Leader will lead the research and development activity at organic chemistrylabs. We are looking for a candidate with in-depth knowledge of lab chemical processdevelopment, the ability to make decisions, work independently, and be detail-oriented.

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage organic R&D researchers.
Lead a number of processes in organic R&D including (a) Process development, (b) Improvingthe efficiency of existing processes, and (c) validation of processes and methods.
Collaborate with ADAMA registration personnel, ADAMA Product Directors, Product Strategy,and IP.
Assist in troubleshooting production batches; delivery process improvements to improvereliability or cycle time.
Develop and enforce all laboratory safety, security, and housekeeping policies and procedures.

Qualifications & skills:

Ph.D. in Organic chemistry.
Experience in multi-step organic synthesis.
Familiarity with and experience in scale-up processes.
Work experience in the chemical/pharmaceutical industry.
Experience with HPLC, GC, NMR, and other analytical techniques.
Strong ability to organize priorities, make decisions, and delegate responsibility effectively.
Take ownership of results, overcome obstacles and drive change.
Strong leadership and people-facing skills.
Excellent interpersonal relationships.
Proficiency in verbal and written communication.
Comfortable in global activities.
