myKONAMI - Experienced Game Economist

Brief Description:

As an Experienced Game Economist at PLAYSTUDIOS, you will collaborate closely with Data, Product, and Monetization teams, in order to create the most fun and engaging experience for our players. myKONAMI Slots, by PLAYSTUDIOS is a free-to-play casino app that partnered with Konami Gaming, Inc. featuring top KONAMI slot machine titles.

The unique PLAYSTUDIOS loyalty program gives players real rewards from an exclusive collection of travel, leisure, and entertainment partners including complimentary hotel stays, meals, shows, VIP nightclub access, and more.

The Game Economy is one of the core domains of our game and is critical to our success. We're looking for a highly motivated Game Economist, to design our features, and price our different merchandise in the game.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Play a critical role in the design of new features and game mechanics
• Manage & configure the pricing and merchandising of the game
• Define, monitor & analyze game economy metrics
• Plan A/B tests and optimize gameplay and monetization KPIs

Requirements

• BA degree in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics/Engineering or a quantitative field
• High level of analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
• Enjoy working with numbers, formulas, data analysis, and excellent skills in Excel
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
• 1-2 years of experience in an analytical or financial role
• A passion for game mechanics and player psychology
Experience in the gaming industry - a plus!

This is a hybrid role based in our Tel Aviv office, with three on-site workdays per week.
