RESPONSIBILITIES

Management a significant portion of the organization's research program. This could involve being responsible for development, delivery or both.

Lead on developing business cases for research funding to quantify current costs, justify project investment, and identify the return on investment.

Manage and file international Intellectual Property applications for patents to protect own research work.

Identify and generate new opportunities, conduct innovative scientific experiments and tests, translate results into practical applications, and ensure full transfer and sharing of knowledge for own field of expertise.

Initiate, formulate, and implement new processes and procedures, methodologies, and tools for the functional discipline.

REQUIREMENTS

University / Post Graduate (Masters Degree)

Wide and deep experience providing expert competence.

Experience of planning and managing resources to deliver predetermined objectives as specified by more senior managers.

Uses comprehensive knowledge and skills to work independently while providing guidance and training to others on developing appropriate plans or performing necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements.

Acts as the organizational authority and established expert on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.

Acts as the organization's authority and established expert to develop solutions based on an understanding of the business environment and objectives.

Applies expertise to serve as the organizational authority on conducting research and analyzing data in order to develop a comprehensive understanding of customer and market conditions that enables maximum return on investments.
