We are looking for a talented and motivated Backend Engineer to join our Tel Aviv team. In this role, you will focus on designing, building, and maintaining scalable systems that power our claims experience—a critical component of our customer value proposition. While this position is Backend-focused, we value versatility and candidates who are eager to learn frontend development and evolve into a Fullstack Engineer will thrive in this role.
A day in the life:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems
Lead technical solutions while maintaining a focus on robustness and efficiency
Mentor junior engineers and ensure high code quality standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Data, Business, Engineering) globally
Contribute to architectural decisions and engineering best practices
What you will need:
5+ years of strong back-end development experience
BSc in Computer Science or Mathematics (or equivalent)
Strong Python expertise
Experience with modern backend frameworks and architecture patterns
Strong experience with cloud services and distributed systems architecture (AWS is a plus)
Proven experience with production-grade, high-scale projects
Strong understanding of databases and RESTful APIsExperience in web technologies
Enthusiasm about learning and adapting to the exciting world of AI – a commitment to exploring this field is a fundamental part of our culture
