[VO2 Israel] - DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in software development and IT operations. This role requires a blend of technical
expertise in DevOps practices and a solid understanding of cybersecurity principles.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in a DevOps, site reliability engineering (SRE), or related role.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Docker).
Strong background in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and tools (firewalls, intrusion detection systems, vulnerability scanners).
Certifications: Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, CompTIA Security+) are a plus.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Languages: Fluency in English, Hebrew, and French (verbal and written communication skills are a must).
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.
Automation & Orchestration: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the building, testing, and deployment of applications.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Monitoring and Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions to optimize system performance and availability, ensuring systems are operating effectively and securely.
Security & Compliance: Integrate security best practices (DevSecOps) into the pipeline, managing secrets, certificates, and access controls.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and configuration changes.
Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices, tools, and technologies, and continuously improve DevOps and security processes.
