Freelance Hebrew Subtitler

*Job Description:*

Elite Asia is looking for a freelance *Hebrew Subtitler* to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for *creating English subtitles from Hebrew audio* (or vice versa) for various video content such as interviews, documentaries, corporate videos, and more.

*Responsibilities:*
* Listen to *Hebrew audio* and translate it accurately into *English subtitles*.
* Create subtitles that are properly *timed and synchronized* with the video.
* Ensure translation quality, tone, and cultural relevance are maintained.
* Edit and proofread subtitle files to meet client standards.
* Follow specific style guides and formatting requirements.
* Deliver projects on time.

*Requirements:*
* Proficient in *Hebrew (listening)* and *native/fluent in English (writing)*.
* Previous experience in *subtitling or transcription*.
* Familiar with subtitle tools like *Subtitle Edit, Aegisub*, or similar software.
* Strong attention to detail and excellent grammar.
* Able to work independently and manage deadlines.
* Stable internet connection and computer setup.

*Preferred Qualifications:*
* Experience with *verbatim transcription* and subtitle localization.
* Knowledge of subtitle formatting rules and SDH (optional).
* Background in media, translation, or linguistics is a plus.
