The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

Collaborate with the Frontend, UX and the Product Management engineers to design, develop, and publish.

Develop and maintain the micro services that form the backend side of the product.

Collaborate daily with other engineers and stakeholders to solve complex problems in an evolving environment using a combination of your domain knowledge and your skills as an engineer.

Learn and grow new skills while contributing learnings in a team environment, so we can all grow and thrive together.

Obsess over quality in the code you write and the product you create.

Skills and qualifications

University BSc in computer science or software engineering

5+ years of proven experience as software engineer

Proficient in Java and/or Scala

Developing high scale systems – under microservice architecture

Developing containerized applications for cloud environments

Experience with continuous integration tools

Experience with any of the following cloud service providers - AWS, Azure or Google

Strong knowledge in OOD/OOP

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work without supervision

Advantages:

Experience in multithreading, performance and memory optimizations

Experience working with Kubernetes

Experience with Python/Spring Boot
