Ice Rink Attendant & Score Keeper

Edge Sports Global is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our team for the upcoming hockey season! As a Rink Attendant, at Mark Bavis Ice Arena you’ll be the welcoming face of the facility—overseeing public skating sessions, private rentals, and special events. You’ll help ensure a safe, fun, and well-organized environment for guests of all ages.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee attendance, safety, and crowd control during public skating sessions and private events.
Score keeping youth hockey game (will train)
Provide excellent customer service—greeting guests, answering questions, and assisting with phone inquiries.
Operate a cashless point-of-sale register for concessions and skate rentals.
Rent, fit, and maintain rental skates, including skate sharpening. (Training provided)
Enforce rink rules and ensure guest compliance in a friendly but professional manner.
Assist with concession stand operations (snacks, drinks, etc.).
Keep the facility clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Support event setup and breakdown as needed.

Qualifications:

Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
Comfortable interacting with the public and handling customer concerns.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable and punctual with strong attention to safety.
Previous experience in customer service, recreation, or hospitality is a plus.
Ability to skate is helpful but not required (training provided).

Additional Details:

Evening, weekend, and shifts are part of the role.
Must be able to with stand a cold environment and lift up to 30 lbs.
