We are looking for an experienced, strategic product management Director with a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will have a broad background in all aspects of product lifecycle management, great interpersonal skills, and significant expertise in cybersecurity and IT security, enterprise software and cybersecurity solutions.

The candidate must be able to manage the products under their responsibility like a business and be passionate about building best-in-class products that drive company success and have lasting impact in the market.

The position will report to VP of Products (located in Israel)

Your focus and time will be on:

Lead a team of strong product managers
Define the product vision, roadmap, and strategy
Working hands-on with product managers, UX designers, engineering managers as part of a cross-functional product team
Continuously analyze customer needs, industry trends and competitive information
Communicating the product roadmap, both inside Varonis and with customers and prospect
Engaging with customers, prospects, and users to get their feedback, discuss their challenges and gain a full understanding of their needs
Collaborating with internal stakeholders (Professional services, Customer Success, Support) to understand their needs and refine roadmap
Initiate and work with technology partners to foster better-together solutions

Desired Skills and Experience

10+ years experience in product management
Domain expertise in cyber security (Focusing on Data Protection) – significant advantage
Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 5 years experience managing product managers and multiple product lines
Experience delivering vision, strategy and plans to managers, engineering, and leadership
Rich experience in working, and leading, cross-functional delivery teams
Strong experience in effective, collaborative work with all departments of the company
Experience in product management of complex enterprise software, with modern software development processes
Experience in a variety of software delivery models: on-prem, cloud, managed services
Strong desire and ability to connect with customers, understand their challenges and communicate a vision for how products can address those challenges
Great communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
