You Are: You are a motivated and technically strong Application Engineer with a passion for digital backend design flows and customer enablement. What You’ll Be Doing: Supporting customers by enabling and troubleshooting the digital BE design flow Running and supporting Fusion Compiler (FC) implementation flows, including setup, execution, and analysis Assisting customers with tool usage, flow understanding, and best practices for backend implementation Working closely with experienced Application Engineers to learn customer environments and project requirements Analyzing design issues and providing clear, practical guidance to resolve technical challenges Collaborating with internal Synopsys teams to escalate, track, and resolve tool or flow-related issues Contributing to continuous improvement of backend flows, methodologies, and customer support processes The Impact You Will Have: Supporting key global accounts by ensuring successful adoption and usage of Synopsys backend tools Helping customers achieve efficient, high-quality digital implementations using industry-leading technology Strengthening Synopsys’ reputation as a trusted technical partner through responsive and knowledgeable support Accelerating customer productivity by enabling smooth backend flows and effective problem resolution Contributing to long-term customer success and satisfaction in advanced VLSI designs What You’ll Need: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field Strong understanding of VLSI concepts and the digital backend (BE) design flow Hands-on experience or familiarity with Fusion Compiler (FC) implementation Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments Experience with or willingness to learn TCL scripting 1-3 years of experience in relevant field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to learn complex tools and flows quickly Who You Are: Technically curious and eager to learn from experienced engineers Customer-focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountability A clear communicator who can explain technical concepts effectively Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment Detail-oriented, yet able to understand the broader design and customer context Adaptable and positive when facing new challenges The Team You’ll Be A Part Of: You’ll join a skilled and collaborative Application Engineering team, focused on supporting backend design flows and Synopsys implementation tools.
