About the role

We are looking for a talented, full-time IT and Security Operations Engineer to help us keep our fleet of devices and networks secure and our office work environment efficient and organized.

Our employees travel the world, taking devices with them that require the utmost security policies and monitoring in place to remain protected and compliant.

Main roles and responsibilities:

Managing Zota’s network infrastructure and its security around our office locations, both on-site and remotely.

Operating a help desk which involves software and hardware assistance, installation, and troubleshooting.

Deploying and maintaining endpoints via Azure AD and other MDM infrastructures.

Responding promptly to IT and security incidents, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to minimize downtime and mitigate risks.

Acquiring and managing software and licenses.

Monitoring security events in SIEM platforms.

Onboarding, triaging, and testing new IT and InfoSec technologies for the corporate environment.

Understanding of laptop hardware and software architectures.

Familiarity with Windows and OSX operating systems, and how to deploy them at fleet scale.

Experience with business productivity platforms (Microsoft Azure, Google Workspace, etc)

Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.

Understanding of Windows file system, registry, UAC, and Group Policies.

Technical knowledge of computer hardware and office equipment.

Familiarity with network equipment and infrastructure, network configuration, and network protocol (TCP-IP/LAN/WAN).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
