As a DBA Team Lead you will be responsible for:
* Lead, recruit and mentor a team of talented DBAs
* Lead the adoption of everything as code in the DB domains from provisioning via configuration to having robustly scalable and stable & monitored DB.
* Developing our database strategy for proactive performance, tuning and high availability in a 24×7 production environment.
* Managing Development, Test, QA and Production databases and implementing future MySQL and MongoDB DB enhancements to meet the business needs of the end-users.
* Scaling and anticipating requirements, database capacity planning for scalable growth and performance
* Working with the development teams to identify and resolve issues, and to ensure database changes adhere to best practices and are properly prioritized and scheduled
* Responsibility for configuration, maintenance, upgrade, and patching procedures.
* Conducting and managing periodic on-call duties

*Requirements*
* At least 3 years of hands-on as a DBA
* Proficiency with MySQL databases (version 8.x)
* Experience with partitioning, replication, multi-level security, clustering, distributed transactions, OLTP & OLAP
* Experience / Knowledge with MongoDB
* Extensive knowledge of SQL programming and optimization
* Database and Application performance tuning
* Linux system knowledge
* Experience with cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure )
* Fluent English
* 2+ years in a lead/management position
* 3+ years of experience with IaC – Terraform/Cloud formation/Ansible/Chef/Puppet
