Quality Control Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our production team in the automotive manufacturing environment. The QC Technician will be responsible for performing in-process inspections and audits directly on the production line to ensure components and finished products meet internal and customer quality standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining consistent product quality and driving continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform regular in-line quality inspections according to control plans and quality standards.
Monitor and record inspection results (e.g., measurements, visual checks, functional tests) in real time.
Verify compliance of parts and assemblies using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
Identify non-conforming products or processes and escalate findings to the line leader and quality engineer.
Support root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
Assist with First Article Inspection (FAI), incoming material inspection, or final product checks as required.
Work closely with operators to maintain awareness of quality expectations and detect potential issues early.
Support compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.
Maintain organized and accurate inspection records, logs, and quality documentation.
Follow all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; technical diploma is a plus.
1–3 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing (preferably in the automotive industry).
Strong understanding of basic quality tools and inspection equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, control plans, and work instructions.
Familiarity with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards is an advantage.
Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Basic computer skills (e.g., data entry, Microsoft Excel).
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment and stand for extended periods.
Attention to detail and high sense of responsibility.
Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
