Game UI/UX Designer

Casual Friday LTD is seeking a talented Senior Game UI/UX Designer to join our Design team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, engaging, and visually appealing user interfaces for our games, collaborating closely with art, dev, and product to create seamless user experiences. We are looking for a passionate individual with a strong portfolio showcasing their UI/UX design skills and ability to craft user-centered designs for immersive gaming experiences.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop user interfaces from initial wireframes to final polished designs
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for game interfaces
Collaborate with the art team to ensure UI designs align with the game’s visual style and aesthetic
Work closely with the Unity development team to ensure proper implementation of UI assets
Conduct user research and usability testing to refine and optimize the user experience
Utilize both manual design processes and designated AI tools to enhance efficiency and creativity

Requirements:

3+ years of UI/UX design experience, in the gaming industry
Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, XD, Illustrator), Figma
Familiarity with Unity and UI integration workflows is a strong advantage
Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and usability best practices
Team player with excellent communication skills, flexibility, and creative problem-solving
Passion for games and a keen interest in retro 2000s cartoon aesthetics is a big plus
