Job Description

Understand the broader strategy of the company and determine how that will impact the marketing team’s efforts

Work collaboratively with others to develop DeviantArt marketing plans that drive growth and market share

Take ownership of every facet of the marketing’s success, from planning to execution and optimization

Build and maintain a healthy community for artists and art enthusiasts

Maximize the potential of new and existing users, focusing on monetization

Manage and guide the marketing team

Work with remote colleagues and team members across multiple zones

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in global marketing roles and managing a team

Well-versed at putting the focus on user activities while keeping close tabs on the numbers

Extensive knowledge of online communities and the importance of building and maintaining user relationships and networks

Familiar with the creators’ economy and how creators promote and sell their work online

Wide view of the digital creator industry as a whole and can zoom in on the day to day activities and interactions needed to make marketing efforts effective and successful

Deep understanding of the interaction between complex products, with the ability to make effective marketing decisions based on your knowledge and real data.

Incredible analytical skills, with extensive experience making big decisions that impact products, employees and users
