Security Lead - Contractor

Position Summary and Objective

The Security Lead will support the Security Manager in all operational aspects, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a safe environment. This will be an in person position Sunday-Thursday located at 3 manufacturing locations in Northern Israel. This position might include occasional international travel as well.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Team Management:
Train and lead the local security team.
Conduct regular performance assessments.
Foster a cohesive and efficient team.
Security Operations:
Perform security controls, audits, and exercises.
Implement and enforce security procedures.
Respond to emergencies promptly.
Intelligence and Recruitment:
Gather intelligence and assess threats.
Conduct employee reliability checks.
Interview potential candidates.
Emergency Preparedness:
Maintain competence through regular exercises.
Implement emergency procedures.
Be available for irregular hours, including weekends.
Incident Investigations:
Investigate security incidents thoroughly.
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders.
Policy Implementation:
Ensure proper application of security procedures.
Monitor compliance with policies.

Qualifications

10 years of experience in the security industry (prior law enforcement, military, or high-level private security background)

Experience in leading a security team preferred

Strong judgment, discretion, and interpersonal communication skills

Professional appearance and demeanor
