Website Manager

Outbrain is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Website Manager to oversee and manage, coordinate with multiple stakeholders across diverse teams, and ensure the smooth functioning of our website. You will be responsible for developing and executing sprints, setting clear requirements, and delivering high-quality website projects that align with our brand identity and enhance user engagement.

A day in your life:

Website Requests Management: Act as the primary contact for all website-related inquiries, ensuring efficient handling and timely responses.
Project Coordination: Manage complex website management tasks involving multiple stakeholders, design partners, and cross-functional teams. Organize sprints, define ETAs, and ensure SLAs are met.
Quality Assurance: Take full end-to-end ownership of QA, develop and execute robust UAT plans collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality and error-free website updates.
Technical Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and fix technical issues and bugs, optimizing performance and ensuring a seamless user experience.
Web Performance Management: Set clear requirements and collaborate with engineering and cloud teams to maximize website performance, ensuring speed, reliability, and security.
Third-Party Integrations: Oversee and ensure smooth integration of third-party tools and platforms, maintaining consistent and high-quality performance.
Design & Usability: Apply an eye for design to create high-converting pages that increase user engagement and key metrics such as dwell time and average page visits.

What you'll bring:

Collaboration: Exceptional collaboration and organizational skills, with experience working closely with engineering and design teams.
Technical Knowledge: Proficient understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web design principles. Familiarity with WordPress, Elementor, WP Engine, and hosting platforms like Akamai, Apache, Microsoft Azure, and Internap.
Performance & Analytics: Experienced in using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Hotjar, Salesforce, HubSpot, Looker Studio, BigQuery, and other performance monitoring tools.
Design & UX/UI: Strong understanding of user experience and user interface design principles, with a solid grasp of what makes a website visually appealing and user-friendly.
SEO & Data Analysis: Knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to analyze data, generate insights, and make informed decisions.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Project Management: Excellent project management skills, capable of managing end-to-end website projects from concept to launch.Ability to work under own initiative
