*Job Summary:*

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Software Development Director to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a proven track record in managing software development lifecycles, and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, and deployment of our software products, ensuring they meet high standards of quality, scalability, and performance.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
* Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
* Define and implement software development best practices, standards, and methodologies.
* Collaborate with product management, design, and other teams to define product roadmaps and technical specifications.
* Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions on time and within budget.
* Manage technical resources, including infrastructure, tools, and development environments.
* Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and architectural design discussions.
* Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and recommending new tools and approaches.
* Manage relationships with third-party vendors and partners as needed.

*Qualifications:*

* Extensive experience in software development, with a significant portion in leadership and management roles.
* Proven track record of successfully leading software development teams and delivering complex projects.
* Strong understanding of various software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
* Proficiency in multiple programming languages and software architectures.
* Excellent technical leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
* Experience with cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines is highly desirable.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. A Master's degree is a plus.
