Accountant

Enghouse is seeking a General Ledger Accountant to join our team in the Ra'anana office. This role is integral to ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient end-to-end processing of financial transactions. Key responsibilities include the calculation and booking of accruals and prepayments, management of fixed assets, bank reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and accounts payable (AP) control, including invoice processing and payments. This is a Hybrid role for Israel location with 1 day in office, reporting to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

Calculate and book accruals, prepayments, and other balance sheet accounts while maintaining accurate, up-to-date reconciliations
Manage and maintain the fixed asset register
Responsible for monthly and quarterly Profit and Loss reviews highlighting unusual transactions
Responsibility of the preparation of VAT and local taxes accurately and on time
Manage intercompany postings and reconciliations
Assisting with the year-end statutory audit
Oversee accounts payable (AP) control, including invoice booking and payment processing
Payroll processing

Qualifications & Experience:

Strong communication skills in both English and Hebrew, written and verbal
Proficiency in Microsoft Great Plains (preferred) and Priority software
Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables
Strong problem-solving abilities applied to daily operations
Methodical, detail-oriented, and capable of handling high volumes of transactions
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Self-motivated with a proactive, flexible approach to work
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
