We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior, Back-End Engineer to join our Engineering Development team. This role is located in Tel Aviv (hybrid).
We are a fast-growing team using cutting-edge technologies for various exciting and innovative digital product offerings. The successful candidate will primarily work on back-end software development in an agile manner. The candidate must have end-to-end accountability for code development, unit test case development, debugging, troubleshooting, application deployment, and post-production support
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
Develop core restful APIs utilizing Java and Spring framework
Implement event driven architecture across the applications using Kafka and messaging queues
Write batch jobs using spring scheduler or other scheduling frameworks
Write detailed, clear, concise designs that can be used as the basis for development
Load, process, and transform data from multiple data sources
Write test cases using Java programming language
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience as a software developer
Experience designing and developing cloud/onprem, microservice based client – server applications using Java and Spring Boot framework
Exposure to cloud providers like Azure or AWS and to logging tools like Splunk
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab)
Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB) and RDBMS
Knowledge of PySpark and other related ETL frameworks is preferred
Experience deploying and configuring applications on Docker is a plus
English at professional fluency level, both written and spoken, is required. Hebrew at professional fluency level (spoken) is preferred
