What You'll Bring:

Scripting Test Cases

Test suites to be enhanced and maintained.
Produces detailed low-level designs in CICD processes
Develops, builds and unit tests components from detailed low-level designs.
Carries out unit testing on developed code, developing test harnesses if necessary.
Applies all relevant standards and procedures to own work.

Reporting:

Accurately records own time and accurately reports progress on own work.
Compiles Unit testing and Release testing reports and dashboards.
Compiles Defect dashboards for Regression suites and maintain trend

Process :

Independently design test plans, test cases , test data, test results, automation framework
Execution of functional, integration, regression and user acceptance tests if needed.
To understand unique requirements and help implement them in test cases and script them
Ideate and suggest improvements in the Software, based on testing results and to enhance user experience
Design, test plan, test cases, test data, execution & reporting.
Process for testing and release management
Any other responsibility assigned

Impact You'll Make:

Experience and Skills

BE/B.Sc./MCA/ B.Sc.IT
Exp : 5 to 7 years of experience (at least 4+ years in automation)
Experience testing Financial IT Applications (preferably credit card, auto loan, home loan etc)
Hands-on experience in Unix/Linux / HP ALM / Jira
Hands-on experience with SQL queries on Oracle /Informix and Postgres SQL
Use of Test automation tools - RFT/Silk, QTP, Load runner, Maven. Prior experience with any Banking Financial Application systems is an added advantage
Software testing certifications such as CSTE, CSQA, ISTQB etc. will be an added advantage
Good knowledge of Core Java programming
- Hands on working knowledge with Selenium WebDriver and any other automation tools
- Good experience in creating automation scripts for the application modules
Flexibility to travel as needed
Executive presence and assertiveness.
Self-starter, ability to work independently, handle ambiguous situations and exercise judgement in variety of situations.
Strong communication, organizational, verbal & written skills.
High degree of responsibility and ownership, strong multitasking, coordination and tenaciously looking for ways to get results.
Ability to independently design test plans, test cases , test data, test results, automation framework
Proficiency in executing functional, integration, regression and user acceptance tests
Experience in automation testing of similar software projects
Strong verbal communication skills; being able to articulate well
Demonstrated ability to understand unique requirements and help implement them
Collaborative and positive in approach
- Hands on experience in building and managing automation frameworks and building utilities as required
- Hands on experience in configuring Jenkins and creating the CI/CD pipelines for DevOps tasks
- Good knowledge of REST and SOAP web services
- Knowledge in working with SQL and data bases
- Understanding of cloud applications is plus

This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.
