Senior QA Automation Engineer Position

NEXT DATA, which is the data science center of Tel Aviv Medical Center (TLVMC), is currently
looking for highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineers, passionate about modernizing
healthcare and bringing it into the data-driven era. This is an exciting opportunity for those who want to make a real difference in the field.

Our Center creates AI models and develops innovative data solutions that aid clinicians in making informed real-life decisions using EMR data, imaging data, and other relevant information. We work alongside top global medical organizations and digital health companies to achieve this goal. Our projects are seamlessly integrated into TLVMC's clinical workflow through collaborations between data scientists, physicians, engineers and research labs.

As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, your role will be pivotal in shaping and defining quality standards and methodologies across our products that leverage clinical data research. These solutions will have a tangible impact on our product offerings and user experiences.

Responsibilities
Work closely with product managers, hospital clinical users, and cross-functional teams to assure clinical needs are translated into high-quality products.
Collaborate with the development team to plan and prioritize test cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage and scope.
Perform functional testing for new features, regression testing, and track defects.
Create new automated tests (component/integration/E2E tests) and support existing ones to improve test coverage and the efficiency of the automated tests for the projects.
Managing and setting up automation flow for CI/CD pipeline (setup dependencies services/mocking data sources/automation ENVs) working with infra/DevOps team
Take part in planning with the team in order to understand the most critical places that should be covered
Be creative, innovative and strive constantly for improvement.

Requirements:
4+ years of strong testing experience (manual and automation)
Proven experience in software QA and testing methodologies (component/integration/unit/etc.)
Experience with React/Python/AWS services
Experience in writing automation tests for RESTful APIs and microservices, and knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
Experience with writing/supporting complex E2E tests involving a couple of services UI/backend.

Experience in writing automation tests for the services with CI/CD flow. Understanding of CI/CD process.
General knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, Redshift).
Ability to multitask and work on multiple technical areas simultaneously.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and high motivation

Advantage:
Experience with writing workflows with GitHub Actions
Experience with usage/developing CI/CD infrastructure for running different types of automation tests (experience with tools such as Docker, GitHub Actions)
