The People and Culture (former HR) Country Specialist will be part of the People Support Solutions (PSS) chapter and will work closely with the broader PSS organisation but will primarily provide specific country services needed to be performed in the local language or needed to have local physical presence in Israel, working alongside the wider P&C organisation, as well as external stakeholders.If you are someone who enjoys working for a multinational matrix organisation, loves an open feedback culture and is motivated by collaboration, productivity and team spirit come and join us!The job is located in Hod Hasharon Israel.JOB ACCOUNTABILITIESMain tasks including but not limited to:Recruitment:Lead the recruitment process for the positions of Roche Israel end-to-end based on the global standardized recruiting processPartner with the business leaders in Roche Israel regarding all talent acquisition aspects including talent sourcing, selection, and hiring.Keep up with new recruitment trends for ongoing optimization, ultimately, to attract and hire the best talents for Roche Israel to achieve our ambitionCollaboration with Talent Acquisition partners and building strong relationships across the chaptersUnderstands different assessment methodologies and consults with the business which ones are most appropriate.Facilitates the decision making process with the hiring manager and the other involved stakeholders to hire the best candidate for the role.Manages the offer process with all necessary stakeholders (creates an offer proposal, obtains approvals, extends offers, and negotiates with candidate if required)Explain country specific benefits to candidatesEngage and manage recruitment agencies in IsraelEmployee Lifecycle & People Support Services:Manage, coordinate, monitor and archive the mandatory pre-employment activitiesProactively identify process improvements and troubleshoot complex issues to determine root cause and solutionsPreparation and management of employment related documentsMaintain employee files and recordsValidate the translations of the employment contracts related documents (i.e. Job descriptions) and pre-hire documentsInterface with Payroll, Time & Benefits Operations:Perform time related activities and manage the relationship with 3rd party vendors (i.e. pension scheme, health insurance scheme)Interface with and manage benefit vendors to ensure accuracy, high service levels and desired employee experiencePrimary point of contact for People Support Team on payroll, time and benefits enquiries, supporting end-to-end resolutionActive participation in projects related to PTB and process improvementSupport, communicate and inform employees about changes in policy, clarification and answers to questions of employees on vacation, sick leave, vacation remains, etc.Other People & Culture Operations:Assist in development and implementation of People & Culture policiesSupport OD and Learning activitiesSupport and maintain effective working relationships with People & Culture network and chaptersWho you areIn this role you will be working within a team of Specialists focusing on a customer group and across various functions and levels within the organization.Core capabilities include:Living customer centricity through your day-to-day interactions (incl. cultural awareness, outstanding communication)Demonstrating end-to-end accountability (incl. understand impact and the big picture, being effective to deliver solutions)Demonstrating problem-solving (incl. active listening, critical thinking, process improvements)Having a growth mindset (incl. continuous learning, think outside the square, promote and live open feedback culture, authenticity and creativity)Further requirements:University degree4+ years of related experience in Human Resources (ie HR Generalist)Experience with HRIS systems (Workday desirable)Experience in service delivery or customer careAbility to navigate in complex HR data structureProven track record of being able to deliver in a matrix organizationAbility to work independently in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple prioritiesAbility to thrive in an ambiguous and multicultural environment working across bordersExcellent communication skills in Hebrew and English (written and spoken) are essentialWho we areAt Roche, more than 100,000 people across 100 countries are pushing back the frontiers of healthcare.
