SRE / DevOps Engineer

A data security company in Tel Aviv is looking for their first SRE / DevOps Engineer within the organization, taking full ownership of building and maintaining a robust cloud-native product using cutting-edge technologies. The role involves end-to-end responsibility for DevOps/SRE operations, including CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud infrastructure, environment management, observability, and platform reliability. The position also contributes to technological and architectural decisions across the entire platform and involves mentoring and guiding team members.

Responsibilities:
* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
* Build and manage cloud infrastructure using modern IaC tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.
* Develop and manage Kubernetes-based environments, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
* Monitor platform reliability and implement observability tools, such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or Grafana, to track system health and performance.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to make strategic architectural decisions.
* Drive automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
* Support the development of a SaaS product in a cloud environment, ensuring scalability and reliability.

Technical Environment:
* Cloud: AWS
* Orchestration: Kubernetes (EKS on ARM)
* IaC: Terraform Cloud
* CI/CD: GitHub Actions, ArgoCD with Helm
* Additional tools: Auth0, Netlify, Cloudflare Pages
* Databases: RDS, Athena, and potentially Neptune
* Pipeline orchestration: Argo Workflows or Temporal

Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in the following areas:
* Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
* Developing modern IaC solutions using tools like Terraform or Pulumi.
* Working with monitoring platforms such as Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or Grafana.
* Extensive knowledge of a major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
* Managing and deploying in containerized environments.
* Expertise in Kubernetes and its ecosystem.
* Building and scaling SaaS products in cloud environments.
