abra R&D is seeking Support engineer!
We're seeking experienced Support engineer to join our growing team in the cellular communications space.
The team is responsible for receiving customer issues and bugs, and it is crucial to be efficient in closing the gap between the customer and the developers to reduce resolution time. In this role, you will apply technical skills to diagnose, reproduce, and resolve issues while providing professional support to internal customers such as QA teams and service engineers from global telecom operators.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting, analyzing, and resolving technical issues for customers.
Reviewing logs and data to determine the root cause of issues.
Identifying whether the issue is related to the physical layer or higher-level algorithms and protocols.
Reproducing customer issues in a controlled lab environment using relevant communication equipment and computers.
Collaborating with internal teams such as QA and service engineers working with telecom operators worldwide.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
Experience with wireless communication (RF): Experience with cellular technologies (LTE, 5G, Wi-Fi, WiMax, Zigbee, LoRa, Bluetooth).
Familiarity with Linux environment
Strong log reading and understanding skills
Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly identify and resolve issues.
Ability to work under pressure and flexible hours
Proficiency in technical English (customers are international telecom operators).
Experience with Python scripting for automation
Understanding of code (C/C++) – The ability to read and understand code.
Knowledge of cloud networking - Nice to have
