Software Manager

Cardo Systems, a global leader in consumer electronics for motorcycle riders, skiers, and off-road drivers, is looking for a highly skilled Software Manager to lead a group of 10 people, reporting directly to the VP of R&D.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Manage a software development team, an automation team, and an architect.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Oversee the planning, development, and implementation of software projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Report progress, challenges, and solutions directly to the VP of R&D, project and product managers.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
Ensure the technical feasibility of product specifications and maintain the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development and a hands-on approach to leadership, with additional experience in wireless communication being a significant advantage.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of software development experience, with 3+ years in a managerial role.
Strong technical and programming skills with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and leadership.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
