We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and take ownership of testing processes. Reporting to the VP of R&D, you will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the highest quality standards.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing automation frameworks, writing automated test scripts, and maintaining robust testing strategies. We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team and take ownership of testing processes.

Requirements:

5+ years of manual QA experience, with strong expertise in exploratory and functional testing.
3+ years of experience with Python or Node.js for automation development.
Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, TestCafe, and Selenium.
Experience working in a startup environment, with the ability to adapt quickly and work in a fast-paced setting.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating test automation within deployment workflows.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with validating data accuracy.

Nice to Have

Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with performance and load testing tools.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Experience creating automation cycles from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python or Node.js.
Implement and enhance test automation frameworks using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, TestCafe, and Selenium.
Perform manual testing when necessary and transition manual tests to automation over time.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure high-quality releases.
Identify, document, and track bugs, ensuring timely resolution.
Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for new features and existing functionality.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
Work in a startup environment, adapting to rapid changes and contributing to process improvements.
Validate data accuracy to ensure correctness and reliability of application data.
