Firmware Validation Engineer

Job Description

Debugs software and firmware products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans.
Develops test cases through complex Test Automation Frameworks.
Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action.
Consults with development engineers and architects in resolution of problems.
Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.

Qualifications

B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Electrical/SW Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent – MUST
At least two years of experience graduation
Solid and proven knowledge and experience in C# programming
Clear verbal and written communication
A Can-Do approach and mindset
The following will be considered as an advantage:
Experience in Test Frameworks
Experience with Python
Experience in Agile (SCRUM) practices
Experience with Linux, Linux Kernel, Device Driver development on Linux
Experience in working in multi-GEO organizations-

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
