Manage software assets and licenses across the organization as well as client portfolios managed by the company.
Develop and implement software asset management policies and procedures.
Monitor software usage and ensure compliance with licensing agreements.
Conduct regular software audits and reconcile discrepancies.
Optimize software spending and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Support procurement work negotiating with vendors for software contracts and renewals as well as supporting the contractual elements of such deals.
Maintain accurate inventory of software assets and licenses.
Collaborate with procurement, finance, and IT teams on software-related matters.
Stay updated on software licensing models and industry trends.
Provide reports on software asset utilization and compliance to management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, business administration or related field

- 3-5 years of experience in IT asset management, with focus on software

- Strong knowledge of software licensing models and compliance regulations

- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL)

- Proficiency in asset management tools and software

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

- Strong communication and negotiation abilities

- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- ITAM (IT Asset Management) or software asset management certifications

- Experience working in an IT service provider environment

- Knowledge of cloud licensing models and SaaS management
