Position Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Chief Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will be an expert in AI, 2D and 3D geometry, math, physics, algorithms, CAD, computer graphics, 3D simulation, and web technologies. The Chief Architect will play a crucial role in defining and overseeing the technological vision, architecture, and roadmap for our products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural Leadership: Define and implement the overall architectural vision and strategy for the company's products, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
Technology Expertise: Serve as the subject matter expert in AI, geometry (2D and 3D), math, physics, algorithms, CAD, computer graphics, 3D simulation, and web technologies.
Innovation and R&D: Lead research and development efforts to explore new technologies and methodologies, driving innovation and competitive advantage.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and design, to ensure seamless integration of architectural principles and technical standards.
Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce best practices for software development, code quality, and system performance to ensure high reliability and scalability.
Documentation: Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including architectural blueprints, design patterns, and technical specifications.
Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of the architectural decisions and their impact on business outcomes

Requirements:

Requirements

Strong educational background with BS/MS in Computer Science or a related area (or equivalent experience).
8+ years of experience in hands-on software development positions across a variety of technology areas including (but not limited to) front-end development, back-end development, AI/ML development, 3D development
Strong experience developing customer-facing applications in a fast-moving technical environment
In-depth AWS/AZURE expertise
Demonstrated experience in mentoring engineers and playing a strong role in transforming front-line engineering by showing what's possible with technology
Able to quickly learn new technologies and quickly contribute to existing codebase.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organizational levels and influence strategic decision-making
Proven track record of innovating and influencing to provide novel and effective solutions to difficult software engineering problems
Demonstrated entrepreneurial perspective in ideation and implementation
