You will be responsible for cost reduction programs, efficiency initiatives and cost models revisionsJob Location:Beer Sheva is the capital of the Negev, located in Southern Israel.The factory in Beer Sheva was established in 1996 in the “Emek Sarah” industrial area and has over 1,000 employees. Vishay Resistors are embedded in various industries: Automotive, Telecom, Computers, Medical, Military, etc.Vishay Beer Sheva provides its employees with support, a variety of tools for personal growth and a wide range of opportunities for career advancement within the company.Vishay is a stable company which has served as a solid working environment and “family” to thousands of employees over the years.What you will be doing:Identify and address cost-saving potentials: Analyze current processes to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.Measure post-implementation effectiveness: Evaluate the impact of implemented cost-saving measures and update cost models accordingly.List and track efficiency projects: Maintain a comprehensive list of efficiency projects and track their progress and outcomes.Constructing cost models: revising current cost models following to operation, marketing and R&D requestsLeading of improvement projects: goals setting, clear communication, task delegation, and regular progress monitoringUpdate cost models: Regularly review and update cost models to ensure accuracy and relevance.
