Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Beer sheva is currently seeking applicants for a Methods and Standards Engineer. You will be responsible for cost reduction programs, efficiency initiatives and cost models revisions

Job Location:

Beer Sheva is the capital of the Negev, located in Southern Israel.

The factory in Beer Sheva was established in 1996 in the “Emek Sarah” industrial area and has over 1,000 employees. Vishay Resistors are embedded in various industries: Automotive, Telecom, Computers, Medical, Military, etc.

What you will be doing:

Identify and address cost-saving potentials: Analyze current processes to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Measure post-implementation effectiveness: Evaluate the impact of implemented cost-saving measures and update cost models accordingly.
List and track efficiency projects: Maintain a comprehensive list of efficiency projects and track their progress and outcomes.
Constructing cost models: revising current cost models following to operation, marketing and R&D requests
Leading of improvement projects: goals setting, clear communication, task delegation, and regular progress monitoring
Update cost models: Regularly review and update cost models to ensure accuracy and relevance. Ensure their accuracy for the yearly budget

What you will bring along:

Profession: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, or Economics.
Analytical skills
Experience: at least 3 years at the process of industrial environment
Familiar with Lean management
Experienced with production floor computerized systems and data bases
Office: very good excel and power point skills
English: high level of read/write/talk
