Chemical Sensor Engineer

We are seeking an experienced electrochemist to join our team and contribute to the development and commercialization of an ion-selective electrode (ISE) sensor. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in electrochemistry/chemical engineering to drive innovation and facilitate the transfer of this technology from research to large-scale production and commercial applications.

Responsibilities:

- Design and develop novel ISE sensor technologies for various applications

- Optimize sensor performance, selectivity, and reliability through iterative experimentation and testing

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure successful technology transfer from lab to mass-production

- Conduct in-depth characterization and analysis of electrochemical sensor materials and systems

- Establish and validate manufacturing processes for ISE sensor production

- Contribute to the scale-up and commercialization efforts, including process optimization, cost reduction, and quality control

Requirements

- Master’s or PhD in Electrochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field

- Extensive experience in the design, development, and characterization of chemical sensors. Advantage to experience with ISE sensor technologies -

- Proven track record in transferring chemical sensor technologies from research to production and commercialization

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively lead cross-functional teams.
