What are we looking for?
We're building SentinelOne next generation cloud based data pipeline and we're looking for a strong Backend Engineer, who is excited about building systems from scratch, loves to take an active part and can quickly dive into a complex large-scale environment. By joining this team, you will be part of the development team, who is working on the following products:
Ranger: a product that gives customers visibility of all devices connected to their corporate environment. Customers can manage the connected devices, even those that aren't protected or supported by S1. We utilize machine learning in order to identify all of the IoT devices in the network.
Vulnerability Management: A product in our platform, that provides customers with the ability to analyze and prioritize vulnerabilities that our cybersecurity solutions find on their endpoints.

What will you Do?

As a member of our scrum team, you will take part in the architecture, design, implementation, testing and deployment of a multi-disciplinary software platform, and will be enhancing our customers' experience by providing them insights and applications based on cybersecurity events. We're a team with a significant impact on how our customers gain visibility into their security posture, understand the risks and act upon them.

Your main tools: Go (current codebase), a bit of Python, in the future we'll be using more Java as well; AWS, Docker, RESTless API, Github etc.

What experience or knowledge should you bring?
Multiple years of experience with high-performance micro-service-based backend systems
Proficiency in some of the major high-level backend programming languages - such as Golang, knowledge of Java and/or Python is a big advantage
It'd be great if you have experience with / or You'd learn & gain on our team:
Big advantage would be - experience developing cloud-native solutions and data pipelines, with Docker and Kubernetes
Working with Kafka eco-system (pub/sub, Kafka connect, etc.)
Experience with PostgreSQL
Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
Large-scale management systems and performance
