Senior Project Manager

We are looking for a senior project professional who has already seen a power plant come together — across engineering, construction, quality, commissioning and contractor interfaces — and knows how to represent the Owner with authority, judgment and a clear view of the entire project.Key responsibilities: Lead the Owner’s site-level project management and supervision activities across all major engineering disciplines. Manage multidisciplinary interfaces covering civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control, piping, welding and quality activities. Direct contractor and EPC interfaces to ensure execution remains aligned with design, contractual requirements, quality standards and project milestones. Monitor construction progress, productivity, critical activities and schedule performance, identifying risks and corrective actions early. Review technical, constructability and execution issues and drive their resolution with engineering teams, contractors, vendors and site leadership. Oversee quality, inspection, testing, commissioning readiness, documentation and handover activities from the Owner’s perspective. Drive decisions across the project interfaces with a strong focus on safety, quality, schedule, technical compliance and successful delivery.To succeed in this role, you will need: Education: BSc in Engineering from an accredited institution. Required certifications: Relevant professional certifications according to background and discipline are an advantage.Relevant experience: Significant senior-level experience in construction and project execution within power generation or comparable major industrial environments. Project track record: Proven involvement in at least two major power plant projects, with substantial responsibility through construction and project delivery stages. Advantages: Experience representing an Owner / Developer and managing EPC contractors on complex power generation projects. CCGT experience is a strong advantage. Technical breadth: Strong understanding of multidisciplinary construction interfaces, QA/QC, testing, commissioning, contractor management and project controls. Software: Strong working knowledge of project, engineering and reporting environments relevant to major construction projects. Languages: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
