Product Engineer

Nova is looking for a Product Engineer to lead the integration and qualification of hardware and software platforms across tool development life cycles. This role is an integral part of the Engineering group, supporting system-level integration from concept to post-release service support.

As a Product Engineer, you will drive product maturity by working closely with multidisciplinary teams – including hardware, software, system engineering, and service. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence cutting-edge semiconductor metrology products. It requires a proactive, technically skilled professional who is ready to take ownership and collaborate across various functions.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
5+ years of experience in complex HW/SW system development and testing
Proven hands-on experience in system verification and troubleshooting
Strong analytical skills and fault analysis capabilities
Proficiency in MATLAB or Python for data analysis and testing
Fluent English and excellent communication skills
Experience with optics-based systems - Advantages
Background in the semiconductor industry - Advantages
Experience working in multidisciplinary teams - Advantages

Role Responsibilities:

What will you be doing:

Lead system integration, verification, and validation across HW & SW domains
Own and manage HW/SW version integration and qualification
Own product BOM configurations, ITPs, ATPs, fault isolation (FI) protocols, and service documentation
Drive installation and qualification processes for beta tools and pre-FAI tools, including service and production handovers
Support system development life cycle: specification, integration, troubleshooting, release, and post-release
Generate and maintain draft documentation for the Engineering and Service teams
Conduct service and engineering training activities, including train-the-trainer programs
Lead system-level integration projects and manage cross-functional escalations
Serve as an escalation point for production and field service issues, working closely with service experts and engineering teams
