What you will be doing:

Your primary focus will be to establish a strong data infrastructure for the company. The ideal candidate will possess an in-depth knowledge of data systems and excel at analyzing and integrating diverse data sources to create a unified and reliable source of information. You will oversee all company data, including sourcing, maintaining, and ensuring it complies with governance requirements and adheres to high standards of integrity, accuracy, and accessibility. Additionally, you will play a key role in how data is presented within our solutions and lead the development of data policies to uphold quality standards. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional execution skills to drive data initiatives throughout the organization.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions that drive business outcomes.
Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with the company’s goals.
Design and execute data integration plans to unify disparate data sources into a single, reliable source of truth.
Analyze existing data systems and identify opportunities for consolidation and improvement.
Oversee the management of data systems and ensure they are optimized for efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and accessibility across all platforms.
Implement best practices for data management, ensuring that all data processes are streamlined and efficient.
Establish and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor data usage and ensure adherence to data privacy standards.
Create curriculum, job aids, and training materials to use with our agile teams to emphasize the significance of data quality at every phase of our development life cycle
Create data transformation rules, data lineage documentation, and metadata documentation for important programs and initiatives
Create a model for reference data management
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Director or in a similar senior data management role.
Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data integration techniques.
Proficiency with data management tools and technologies.
Expertise with data analysis/querying software like Python, SAS, or SQL
Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
Knowledge of programming languages, tools, and methodologies for data management
Knowledge of the capabilities of data quality, such as profiling, rules generation, validation, outlier detection, monitoring, alerting & notification, and stewardship workflow for data remediation
Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to gather, arrange, organize, and communicate a substantial amount of information with accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to make a compelling argument for change by combining storytelling, data visualization, and data management expertise
