Supply Chain Planner (Temp Position)

LiveU is looking for a Planning and Control Engineer to join our team - temporary position as a replacement for maternity leave (6-8 months)

Main responsibilities:

Demand Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on historical data, market trends, and other relevant factors.
Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock and carrying costs.
Supply Planning: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of materials and products. Address any supply chain disruptions.
Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including procurement, product, and logistics, to ensure a smooth flow of materials and products through the supply chain.
Data Analysis: Analyze data related to inventory levels, demand patterns, and supplier performance to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for improvement.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop strategies to mitigate them.
Continuous Improvement: Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs in the supply chain.
Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and understanding of supply chain plans.

Requirements:

Education: A bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field
Experience: Previous experience in supply chain planning, inventory management, or related roles
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills for data analysis and decision-making.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Software Proficiency: Familiarity with supply chain planning software, ERP systems (Priority is an advantage), and other relevant tools.
Advanced Knowledge with Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel).
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
Writing and verbal communication in English
