JFrog Security is one of the main pillars of JFrog's long-term strategy. As a Senior Data Engineer at JFrog Security you will...
Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines to handle large volumes of data from various sources, ensuring high availability and performance.
Develop and implement data crawlers to extract data from web applications and APIs.
Optimize data extraction processes to respect rate limits and ensure efficient data retrieval while minimizing the impact on source systems.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data ingestion.
Implement best practices for data governance, quality, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
Provide mentorship and technical feedback to other engineers on the team.
Initiate and promote new ideas for continuous improvement of tool functionality.
To be a Senior Data Engineer at JFrog Security you need...
7+ years of programming experience in Python/C++/Java/C/Go
Experience with web scraping frameworks (e.g., Scrapy, Beautiful Soup) and API interaction (REST, GraphQL).
Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL). NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) — an advantage
In-depth understanding of data modeling concepts and efficient database management (SQL and NoSQL databases).
Knowledge and hands-on experience working in a modern CI environment: version control, build tools, and CI servers
Experience with production mission-critical systems
Knowledge of Open Source libraries, tools and frameworks
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
