SoC & SW Validation Engineer

About this position

Hailo is looking to hire an experienced system validation engineer to join our system validation group in Tel Aviv. In this role, you will have a direct impact on our products.

Requirements:

B.Sc. in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from top universities (GPA above 80) or equivalent
5+ years’ experience in embedded development or silicon & system validation
5+ years’ experience in SW development (Python, C/C++)
Experience with large-scale SW/HW integration, validation, and release
Quick learner and hands-on
Hard-working, committed, and self-reliant
Proactive approach, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work effectively in a team
Fluent English

Responsibilities:

Ensuring Hailo products are reliable and performing as intended
Work with SW, Architecture, System, and design to define and implement test plans
Analyse and debug SW / HW issues, find solutions, and reach the root cause
Developing SW validation infrastructure (mainly in Python), tools, and methodologies to validate our AI processor and SoC

Advantages:

Experience with media components such as ISP, encoders, Display ports, and cameras
Knowledge of the CI/CD process
Knowledge in Computer Vision
Experience with Yocto build system (or any other embedded build tool)
