People Operations Business Analyst

The Business Analyst for HR Operational Excellence will play a key role in driving efficiency and clarity across HR-led, cross-organizational projects. This role partners closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable processes, insights, and documentation. With a blend of analytical, operational, and systems expertise, the analyst supports continuous improvement across our HRIS and broader people processes. Job responsibilities

Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform decision-making.
Document and prioritize business and functional requirements.
Partner with HR and operations to maintain data accuracy and process consistency.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, processes, and workflows.
Develop supporting materials such as policies, presentations, process decks, and playbooks/guides.
Ensure documentation is structured, accessible, and up to date.
Support operational actions within the HRIS system (data updates, configurations, audits, reports).
Conduct ad-hoc analyses based on evolving business needs.
Prepare clear, compelling reports and presentations that communicate insights and recommendations.
Provide regular updates on project status, progress, and issue resolution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Data/Information Systems, Analytics, or a different related field.
Some experience with data analytics (student projects, internships, part-time roles, research work, etc.).
Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Tableau, Excel, SQL (comfort with learning more is essential).
Strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity and/or usage in AI tools (Chat GPT, Gemini, Notebook LM etc..) -
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify and present complex ideas clearly.
