We are looking for a Java Developer with experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications. In this position you will be a key engineer in developing a modern, cutting edge, software platform serving the SolarEdge applications. An ideal candidate is a highly motivated developer, passionate about delivering state-of-the-art software solutions

Responsibilities:

Designing and developing high-performance applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring low latency, high availability, and optimal throughput
Write well designed, testable, efficient code
Ensure your code is in compliance with specifications
Prepare and produce releases of software components
Design and implement microservices-based solutions
Be a team player, contributing to team goals and targets while supporting your peers
Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as they arise

Requirements:

BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
Over 3 years of experience in Backend development (Java)
SQL and data access optimization- Solid understanding of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
Experience in the Spring Framework

Advantages:

Experience with Kafka is a major advantage
Experience with event-driven systems, distributed systems and/or data-systems is a major advantage
Experience with Docker, K8S, Git, GitLab, is a major advantage
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
Vertica, Apache Airflow, and Apache NiFi advantage
