Graduate Software Engineer – AI & Performance

The Software Engineering team delivers next-generation application enhancements and new products for a changing world. This is a hands-on role combining storage performance with AI implementation where you’ll contribute to designing, building, testing, analyzing and integrating AI-powered storage performance features into real-world applications, working alongside experienced engineers and domain experts.

What you’ll achieve

As a Graduate Software Engineer, you will contribute to the development and integration of AI-powered features within high-performance storage systems, working closely with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.

Design, execute, and document software experiments to evaluate performance and functionality.
Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to address complex engineering challenges.
Build and integrate AI-driven features, including prototypes and production-ready solutions, leveraging models, APIs, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.
Generate and curate datasets through controlled experiments to support AI model development.
Develop and maintain software components using modern programming languages, tools, and frameworks.
Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis to enhance model performance.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Coursework or projects in AI/ML, or in data science
Proficiency in at least one programming language.
Familiarity with AI development tools and frameworks
Strong grasp of data handling, cleaning, and visualization.

Desirable Requirements

Masters in computer science or computer engineering
Knowledge in operating systems environments & experience with LLM APIs or open-source LLMs.
