Tyre fitting and removal & other related servicesCorrectly and safely lift motor vehicle and earth moving machinesUtilise correct tools for the job, report all defective tools to the site supervisorCorrectly and safely fit tyres to rimsFit wheels on to motor vehicles and earth moving machines correctly and safelyMatch dual wheels correctlyReport any defects on studs, washers, wheel nuts, rims and tyres to the Site Supervisor.Inflate tyres according to manufacturer’s specificationsApply all safety standards effectivelyBrand tyresClean and paint rims before fitting tyresTorque wheel nuts to manufactures specificationsFollow compony torque proceduresAppropriate and timely communication with relevant partiesUndertakes pressure and torque checksDo tyre surveysMake sure that valve caps and valve extensions are always fittedIdentifies irregular tyre wear2. Customer serviceAdvise Site Supervisor on appropriate action, who subsequently assists the customersReceive customers in a friendly manner and with a smilePresent yourself clean to customers3. Housekeeping and asset managementHandles tools with care and correctlyEnsures work area and yard are always cleanEnsures machines & tools are always clean, and stored correctly and safelyEnsures dressing rooms are always presentable and neatResponsible for ensuring company property is not damaged4. Health and SafetyAdheres to Health & Safety standards in the workplace and does not endanger other parties.Complies with the requirements of the Occupational Health and Safety ActEnsure Personal Safety Equipment and facilities provided by the company are in good and clean condition.Follow all mine policies and procedures5. DocumentationCorrectly complete tyre change slips for wheel changes and hands them in timelyPrepares survey reports correctly and hands them in timelyClocks in and out at correct times as per shift by correctly signing the time registerEnsure pre task risk assessment is completed.Ensure torque tags are completed correctly.6.
