About the department
The legal department provides ongoing legal counseling and advice to all business units in the company and its subsidiaries, as well as building professional infrastructure designated to promote and advance the business activity of the company.
Responsibilities
As a Compliance Counsel, We are seeking an attorney to join our Legal team as Compliance Counsel. In this role, you will report directly to the General Counsel and head up our Compliance function including oversight of compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for Plarium business on global level.
Assist with the preparation and continued maintenance of regulatory compliance strategy for applicable laws and regulations.
Assist in the design and implementation of company-wide compliance programs, initiatives, and trainings.
Work closely with internal business partners to provide strategic and pragmatic legal advice on regulatory issues, including understanding, interpreting, and applying current laws and regulations to Plarium existing and prospective business activities.
Manage and conduct internal compliance investigations, risk assessments, and audits.
Manage outside counsel in your areas of expertise.
Handle agreements review and negotiation, escalated customer disputes, and general legal issues that arise in the ordinary course of business in support of stakeholders across the company.
What we expect
A Law Degree from an accredited institution required
At least 7 Years of professional experience.
Business oriented
