The purpose of this role is to support the BU Medical & Scientific Affairs Lead in delivering medical & scientific affairs excellence (in the areas of claims communication, evidence generation & external partnerships) within the SEAT (Southeast Asia and Taiwan) BU.

This role is a single contribution role, based in Philippines. As such, this individual will also be the go-to subject matter expert for medical & scientific affairs for the local Philippines team. He/She will collaborate closely with the various country business functions including commercial, regulatory, legal, innovation and development.

Key Responsibilities

Within the SEAT BU, and under close guidance from the BU Medical & Scientific Lead,

Drive thought leadership and position Haleon as a partner in trusted science and evidence-based.

Act as the internal medical & scientific expert representing Haleon.

Lead on superior narrative (e.g. claims communications) to increase the value proposition of our brands and solidify our position as leaders across categories.

Develop reasons-to-believe (RTBs), grounded on trusted science, for our brands to win in real-world scenarios.

Provide medical leadership within the BU to ground our product launches in trusted science. E.g. Provide medical input to BU regulatory applications, new product development and associated clinical activities

Lead the following internal activities including but not restricted to:

Medical input to data collection and analysis of Haleon products and competitors

Review and evaluation support to medical approval of promotional materials

Requirements

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

Degree in a relevant scientific field.
Preferably with Consumer Health industry experience.
Demonstrated business acumen.
Demonstrated project management and organizational skills. Proactive, with ability to anticipate and plan, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions and respond to tight timelines.
Ability to manage and influence discussions with others.
Ability and eagerness to challenge status quo; make quick decisions; and lead/operate successfully in an empowered organization.
Strong communication, influencing and negotiations skills. Ability to facilitate alignment and collaboration across groups/regions.
