The Role
Veeva Systems is looking for a curious, adaptable, experienced, and creative QA Engineer to join our successful and growing R&D team.

The project is the Veeva Data Platform, a leading big-data ETL system which processes transactions and matches identities while preserving privacy.
What You’ll Do

Create clear test plans which will be executed by you and team members.
Write and maintain integration, sanity and regression tests for our products and services.
Create and maintain documented coverage of tests.
Review and analyze test results.
Take part in all scrum activities (estimation sessions, planning, reviews)

Requirements

5+ years of experience and strong knowledge of software QA methodologies
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
Proven experience working with data and ETL processes.
Experience writing automation code in Java or comparable OOP language.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with creating and maintaining tests for production environments.
Self-motivated and fast learner with a strong sense of ownership
Bachelor’s in Computer Science or similar quantitative field
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient English skills

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Pharma/Life Sciences industry
Experience with working in a distributed team
Experience with Big Data Processing
