AI for Drug Discovery Researcher- Research Lab

Your Role and Responsibilities
We're looking for a talented researcher to join our AI in Healthcare and Life Sciences department at IBM Research – Israel. This role offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects that leverage deep learning technologies for drug design and mechanism discovery.## Key Responsibilities- Develop novel machine learning methods to analyze molecular and genomic data
- Create predictive and generative DL-based algorithms for discovering new drug targets and generating therapeutic molecules
- Contribute to our open-source tools and create reusable code (https://github.com/BiomedSciAI)
- Collaborate with a diverse team of researchers and international clients

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Masters degree or doctorate in Computer Science or related fields- Strong background in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Generative Models- Strong software development skills, including proficiency in languages such as Python, C++, or Java- Experience with software engineering best practices, version control, and collaborative development- Passion for applying AI technologies to solve real-world problems in healthcare- Experience with drug discovery or bioinformatics is a plus
